Design Process Mosaic tile layout is produced using computer software by copying full tiles or half tiles (triangular and oblong) from a series of shape and colour templates, plus a few more tricks. The tiles are placed over a background layer of the original picture which has been resized for the required dimensions. When completed, the picture is divided into jigsaw like pieces that fit on an A4 sheet of paper for printing. See DIY Mosaics for more information. |
